This is a 1 day face- face course, designed for those with a minimum of a basic manicure certificate, to teach you the skills to carry out gel polish application, removal and application of nail art glitters, foils and crystals. Also ideal as a refresher for those already qualified in gel polish.

You will receive an official Gaynor Louise Nail & Beauty Academy certificate. This course is accredited with Professional Beauty Direct and ABT allowing you to gain insurance from most insurance companies.

How is the training delivered ?

The face to face training day runs from 10am – 4pm

Students will work on each other in the morning, is it essential that you arrive with no product on your nails and your nails in healthy condition.

You will need a model for the afternoon, 1pm – 4pm. They must have no product on and healthy nails.

If you are struggling to get a model for the full 3hrs, it is possible for your model to attend for 1hr from 1pm – 2pm and you can complete your nail art on swatch sticks from 2pm – 4pm.

Who is the course suitable for?

This course is designed for anyone with a previous manicure certificate.

Pre-requisite: Previous Manicure certificate

What will you learn:

This course covers:

• Client consultation and contraindications

• Natural Nail Preparation including shaping and cuticle work

• Gel Polish application including colour and French

Application of full cover glitter, glitter ombre, full cover foil, partial cover foil and securing nail crystals

• Safe removal

• Aftercare advice

• Retailing

No kit is needed to attend this course, you will be provided with products to work with on the day.

Kit options are available to purchase as well as all the individual products
