Carbide bits are sharper to work with than diamond, they can work through product faster as they shave away at the surface, rather than scratch it away. This is what makes them perfect for de-bulking product for rebalancing & removals. They also last a little longer than diamond bits and can be finished in special coloured coatings that not only make them look great, but also make them last up to 3-4 times longer than standard silver !
Fine grit carbide bits can also be used for finish filing with care, including around the side walls and proximal fold for more experienced e-file users.
Carbide bits should not be used to remove cuticle tissue.

Carbide bits last approximately 3-4 months in our standard silver coloured finish, dependant on frequency of use. When you notice you are spending a little longer filing than usual, and need more stokes of the file to smooth and remove then it’s time for a new piece.
The Blue coating makes each bit last 2-3 times longer than our standard silver !
The Rainbow coating makes each bit last 3-4 times longer than our standard silver !

After each use clean with hot soapy water and then disinfect using your usual tool disinfectant method. Follow the disinfectant manufacturers instructions on contact or soaking time to thoroughly disinfect without damaging your e-file bit.
