You will receive an official Gaynor Louise Nail & Beauty Academy certificate. This course is accredited for online training with ABT allowing you to gain insurance.

Who is the course suitable for?

This course is designed for those with a basic manicure qualification or similar.

What will you learn:

This course covers:

• Client consultation and contraindications to gel polish

• Natural Nail Preparation for gel polish

• Gel Polish application including colour and French

• Glitter application full cover and fade, foils full cover and partial cover and application of nail crystals

• Safe removal

• Aftercare advice

• Retailing

Kit not included but kit options are available.

Kits without lamps are available as salons/students may have already purchased a lamp in a previous kit.

Whatever brand you choose for your kit, it is important that the system (base/top/colours/lamp) are all one brand designed to work together and fully cure, training will not be carried out using a mixture of brands for the system. Any brand glitters, files, prep & soak off etc are fine.

240 grit Natural Nail File

White Sanding Block

100/180 grit file

Nail prep wipe/finishing wipe

Acetone

Soak off Removal tool or orangewood stick

Foil Removal Wraps & cotton

dehydrator, primer, (if needed) + base coat and top coat for your chosen brand.

Gel Polish colours x3 : white, french pink, red

A lamp to match your chosen brand.

Nail crystals

After payment, you will receive an email to set up your account on our online training portal, with access to your course. If you have ordered a kit or any products, they will be sent out to you according to the delivery option chosen at checkout. On the assessment day, which will be arranged to suit you, you will receive an invite via email to the online session 15mins before it starts to get set up. You will need your phone on a tripod or similar, to position the camera over your hands and client for a clear view. A live model is needed for each assessment, depending on the course it may be possible to work on yourself.
